How I Meditate: My Practice of Peace, Presence, and Connection

Meditation has become an essential part of my life—a practice that brings me peace, clarity, and connection to my higher self. My approach is simple yet profound, blending stillness, intention, and mantras to quiet the mind and open the heart. Here’s how I meditate:

My Posture and Preparation
I begin by sitting cross-legged with my back supported, ensuring my posture is upright and aligned. My hands rest in my lap with my fingers gently interlaced, creating a sense of calm and grounding. Before I begin, I take a moment to request guidance from my Super Conscious, asking it to bring me to Peace. Deep. and High with guidance. Super Conscious brings me to the meditative state quickly.  These are trigger words previously implanted in my mind with hypnosis.

The First Steps: Breathing and Centering
To ease into the meditation, I take deep breaths and focus on the sensation of air moving through my nostrils. This simple awareness of breath helps bring me fully into the present moment. I then begin my first mantra:
“I Love You. I am Sorry. Please Forgive Me. Thank You.”

I repeat this mantra softly in my mind, over and over. When thoughts inevitably arise, I don’t resist them. Instead, I gently return my focus to the mantra, allowing it to anchor me back into stillness.

Deepening the Practice: Eyes and Tongue Placement
Once I feel settled, I take the practice deeper. Even with my eyes closed, I roll them upward as though I’m looking toward the sky. At the same time, I press my tongue to the roof of my mouth, just behind my upper front teeth.

From here, I begin to visualize breathing through my heart. In my mind, I imagine inhaling the light of God through my heart, filling myself with divine love and energy. With each exhale, I imagine sending out the love of God through my heart into the world. This visualization creates a beautiful rhythm of giving and receiving love.

The Light Within
As I sit in stillness, I focus on what I see with my closed eyes and upward gaze. Often, a light show unfolds—a play of colors, patterns, or sensations that feel deeply spiritual. I remain still, observing this inner experience, feeling fully present and relaxed.

Switching Mantras and Finding Flow
At some point, I shift to my next mantra:
“I AM.”

I repeat these two simple yet powerful words over and over, aligning them with the rhythm of my heartbeat. This connection between the mantra and my heartbeat creates a profound sense of unity within me.

Sometimes, I pause to simply observe my breath or feel the life energy coursing through my body. I allow myself to be fully immersed in these sensations, moving between mantras, breath, and awareness.

The Power of Intention
I often set a timer for my meditation, typically for 40 minutes, though I occasionally extend it to an hour. Before I begin, I always set an intention. Whether it’s to experience a peaceful meditation, receive guidance, or change a behavior, I ask my Super Conscious to assist me.

Sometimes, my meditation takes on the qualities of self-hypnosis, as I use intention and focus to create inner shifts. Meditation and self-hypnosis are closely intertwined, and I find both to be powerful tools for transformation.

The Key to Meditation
The most important element of my practice is intention. By setting the intention to have a meaningful meditation with the help of my Super Conscious, I allow myself to be guided toward peace, insight, and healing. Each meditation is unique, and I trust that whatever unfolds is exactly what I need at that moment.
